Terms of Service
Last updated October 26, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully. They form a legal agreement between you and Launcher (“Launcher”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and govern your use of our Android home screen application and related services (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you confirm that you meet these requirements and have the authority to accept these Terms.
2. License to use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by us.
3. Acceptable use
When using the App, you agree not to:
- Copy, modify, translate, or create derivative works of the App, except as allowed by law;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where applicable law permits it despite this restriction;
- Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise make the App available to third parties;
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
- Use the App to break any law or violate the rights of others;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its systems, or related networks;
- Use the App to distribute malware or to harm devices, data, or users; or
- Bypass or tamper with any security, licensing, or access-control feature of the App.
4. Permissions and device access
As a home screen application, Launcher needs certain device permissions to work, and some features need optional permissions such as notification access, usage access, accessibility service, or storage access. You control these permissions and can change them in your device settings at any time. Declining or revoking a permission may limit or disable related features. Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
5. Your content and settings
Wallpapers, icon packs, layouts, backups, and other items you choose or create remain yours. You are responsible for the content you use with the App and for making sure you have the rights to use it. Because most settings are stored on your device, you are responsible for backing up anything you do not want to lose. We are not responsible for loss of settings or data caused by clearing app data, uninstalling, resetting, or changing your device.
6. Intellectual property
The App, including its code, design, text, graphics, icons, and features, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Third-party names, logos, app icons, and trademarks displayed in the App belong to their respective owners, and their appearance does not imply endorsement. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use them without obligation to you.
7. Third-party services
The App displays and launches apps and may connect to services provided by others, such as the Google Play Store, your device manufacturer, and any open-source components. Those are governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party apps, websites, or services. Some parts of the App may use open-source software, which is licensed under its own license terms.
8. Paid features
If we offer optional paid features or subscriptions, details, pricing, and billing terms will be shown before you buy. Payments are processed by the app store you use and are subject to its payment and refund policies. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase, purchases are non-refundable. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them through your app store account.
9. Updates and changes
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice. Some updates may be required for the App to keep working. We may also change these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or if we are required to by law. After termination, your license ends and you must stop using the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law, will continue to apply.
11. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device or Android version, or that defects will be corrected. Because Launcher replaces your home screen, you use it at your own risk, and we recommend keeping your data backed up. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Launcher and its developers, owners, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App, even if we have been told such damages are possible. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim arose, or, if you paid nothing, zero. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Launcher and its developers, owners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the App, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the place where the Launcher developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory consumer protection rights provided by the laws of the country where you live. We encourage you to contact us first at support@example.com so we can try to resolve any dispute informally. If we cannot, the courts of that place will have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country requires otherwise.
15. General terms
- Entire agreement: these Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the App.
- Severability: if any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: if we do not enforce a right, that does not mean we give it up.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Not affiliated: Launcher is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any other launcher, device maker, or app publisher.
